MCA, Gerakan in the dark over selection process

Barisan Nasional (BN) leaders are themselves unclear over how the Public Service Department (PSD) selects its scholars.
With most of the 800 rejected school-leavers appealing PSD's decision this year being Chinese, MCA and Gerakan are at a loss as to how to explain the situation to their constituents.
They believe that such confusion can be avoided if the allocation based on merit is administered strictly based on academic achievement alone.
