檳州首席部長林冠英說，雖然委任副首長是他的權力，但基于行動黨與公正黨之間的合作及默契關係，檳州第一副首長人選，將在下個星期三交由公正黨實權領袖拿督斯里安華公佈。
林冠英也是行動黨秘書長，他說，委任副首長確實是首長的權力，但基位兩黨的“友誼”，他會尊重安華的決定，如今也已交給安華決定。
他說，安華已經暗示，檳州第一副首長的人選將會是公正黨巫裔州議員，這兩名州議員是誰，相信大家都心裡有數，但至于誰才是人選，就耐心等待安華下周三的公佈。
根據目前情勢，兩名公正黨州議員阿都瑪烈行政議員及雙溪峇甲區州議員瑪達沙比，一切答案，預料下星期三就可揭曉。

后门入阁，违反民意
新首相，新内阁！对于昨天出炉的新内阁阵容没有太大的惊喜，倒是有点失望。之前谣传内阁将大瘦身，但名单出炉只是小“修身”。论成员也有点失望，内阁竟然有11位成员不是民选议员，而是从国会另一道门入阁，那就是先委为上议员再入内阁。虽说委任内阁成员是首相的特权，但在考虑委任的当而是应以民意、党意、又或者是巩固某党魁实力为重呢？为何委任11位不是民选议员为阁员呢？共有4位部长是上议员，他们是许子根和加米基尔（首相署）、莎丽扎（妇女社会部）和拉惹诺（直辖部）。7位上议员副部长是周美芬（妇女社会部）、王赛芝（新闻通讯、艺术及文化部）、玛芝娜（人资部）、阿旺阿迪（财政部）、柯希仁（外交部）、慕鲁基亚及玛西达（首相署）。委任大选没上阵的上议员入阁我们没话说，但为什么要委任在大选落败者入阁呢？他们已是被选民遗弃啦，难不成其他当选者都没有资格入阁吗？对当选国会议员们会是一种耻辱吗？委任这些大选败将入阁以明显违背了人民的意愿，而是以党意和巩固某党魁实力为先。难道这11位上议员都是各行业特定的专业知识和才能？这些部门非由他们来掌管不行吗？没有经过选票的洗礼和考验，他们的说服力会比较弱吧？注：作者部落格http://ngswayhua.blogspot.com
非回教徒不能朗读可兰经？！
太平区国会议员倪可敏日前在一场政治讲座上引用可兰经经文，结果招致轩然大波，4个非政府组织报警指非穆斯林不能引用可兰经里的句子。 当我看到这样的报道，我感到纳闷。可兰经，一本全世界第二大的宗教回教的经典，真有这么神秘，不能给教外知道里面的内容。难道里面有不可告人的秘密？还好在我有生之年有幸读过华语版的可兰经，不然我真的会怀疑回教是否是邪教。 回教在马来西亚已经变成巫统的政治工具，非回教徒不能朗读可兰经，不读又怎样会明白？不明白又怎样会相信呢？难道回教只能靠武力型（以前回教历史是有靠战争传教的）、强制型（父母或夫妻任何一方入回教，夫妻或儿女强制成为回教徒，成为回教徒一生不能叛教）或利诱型（成为回教徒有种种的特权）来传教吗？在这一方面，回教党的聂阿兹还是比巫统来的讲理。 最后身为基督徒的我，还是欢迎非基督徒在任何一个环境朗读圣经，我们不会报警的，只会祷告求上帝让您更加明白圣经的真理。

Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah today warned that Barisan Nasional faces the prospect of losing the federal government if it is defeated in another by-election, calling for further reforms to meet people's expectations.
The Gua Musang MP said it was disgraceful for BN to lose all four by-elections in Peninsular Malaysia since the watershed general election last year.
"Not just a disgrace, but malu-lah (shameful)," Tengku Razaleigh told reporters at his house today.
The Kelantan prince might soon see if BN has recovered from its string of losses as speculation is rife that scandalised PKR Penanti and Bukit Lanjan assemblymen Mohammad Fairus Khairuddin and Elizabeth Wong will resign their seats.
"It makes me sad as an Umno chap that Umno has not won a single by-election so far.
"Before this, we place a candidate and sure as daylight we would win. Now we have to pray, work and throw money but we still did not win," he lamented.
He felt that the losses in the April 7 Bukit Selambau and Bukit Gantang polls were not necessarily a vote of no faith in newly-appointed Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak but a future loss would reflect badly on his new administration.
"I do not think we can afford to lose anymore support. We have lost so much already," he added, referring to BN losing its two-thirds majority in Parliament and four more states in Election 2008.
Tengku Razaleigh said BN must marshal all its resources to get the support of the people in the next polls or "in three or four years, they will all be kicked out of office."
When asked if the increased majority for the opposition in the two Bukit by-elections showed that former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad was ineffective in returning support to BN, he replied: "I think you have answered the question."
He pointed out that Najib's administration must be genuine in its efforts to reform as it cannot implement what it has in store for Malaysians without the backing of the people.
Tengku Razaleigh said that reforms were necessary as people were not happy.
"If not they will support you. If people are still blind or in denial, then they should hang up their political hats.”

Upset at not being made minister, Samy Vellu threatens BN
Embattled MIC president Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu, whose wish to return to the Cabinet was rejected by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, is playing his final gambit by threatening to withdraw the sole MIC minister.
The Malaysian Insider understands Samy Vellu has little support except from party vice-president S. Sothinathan in this gambit which was sparked after Najib rejected all hints last week to make Samy Vellu a senator and put him back into the Cabinet as works minister.
Samy Vellu complained to his supporters that if Gerakan president Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon could be made a senator and minister, he should have been accorded the same privilege.
Samy Vellu is also unhappy that Selangor Gerakan chief A. Kohilan Pillay has been made a deputy foreign minister, a high-profile post for an Indian.
He feels it should have been given to one of his nominees.
After failing to get himself re-appointed, Samy Vellu tried to propose two additional deputy ministers posts for Sothinathan and Senator Loga Chitrakalla, according to MIC sources.
The sources said a close aide of Samy Vellu had leaked the story that Samy Vellu was considering pulling out Human Resources Minister Datuk Dr S. Subramaniam and deputy ministers Datuk S.K. Devamany and Datuk M. Saravanan, to put pressure on Najib to give additional positions in the Cabinet.
The leaked story is said to be timed for the MIC central working committee meeting on Thursday where Samy Vellu has two choices — to work up his loyalists into making a “do or die” stand over the issue or deny the leaked stories and walk away from the issue.
MIC leaders are divided on whether he will carry out the threat.
“Except for Sothinathan, Samy Vellu is alone in this gambit,” said a senior MIC leader. “He has been asked to wrap up and hand over power in the party by mid-year and that has upset him. He wants to put his man as deputy and serve his three-year term as president before handing over.”
"Najib has told him not a day longer than necessary," the sources said. "This is the real spark for the rebellion against Najib."
Samy Vellu, who seriously believes he can make a comeback, was elected president for an 11th term last month and wants to complete the three-year term before handing over to a yet unnamed successor.

国大党全面退出新内阁抗议?
由于不满新首相纳吉（右图）亏待印裔社群，以及没有归还工程部长职予该党，身为国阵第三大成员党的国大党正考虑全面退出新内阁以示抗议。国大党内部消息指出，虽然可能性不大，但是该党愿意成为国阵内部的单一政党，先专注于团结印裔社群。
禁网络媒体采访自毁公信力

They were either rejected during the 12GE or during the Umno elections recently. Is this what we call democracy? Getting someone rejected by the rakyat into the cabinet is totally unwarranted. Perhaps the BN machinery is punishing the rakyat for not giving them absolute power during the 12GE. Anyway, we the rakyat, are not really worried or bothered about this too much. After all, this may be the last BN cabinet in Malaysian history.
I almost fell off my chair when I read the former Gerakan chief’s advice to Najib. This only goes to show the mentality of these so-called Chinese leaders of Malaysia, past and present. Is he not aware that it was Razak's politics and practices that created this thing called ‘hyphenated citizens’ of Malaysia? I am referring here to the ‘non-Malays’. That his politics was the progenitor to the current racist calling of Ketuanan Melayu? Please, please Gerakan and MCA, do keep your advice within the fortresses of your own bungalows and villas. We are, or I am, really sick to my stomach of your very existence.

Jika menjadi kenyataan, pengesahan kehadiran Elizabeth akan diumumkan kemudian, kata penganjurnya dalam emel kepada Malaysiakini hari ini.Perhimpunan besar itu bagi menunjukkan sokongan kuat yang diterima Elizabeth sebelum majlis mesyuarat kerajaan negeri membuat keputusan pada Rabu depan, hari terakhir aktivis hak asasi itu bercuti selama dua bulan sejak isunya terbongkar di media.Elizabeth menawarkan diri untuk meletakkan jawatan exco pelancongan, pengguna dan alam sekitar Selangor dan ADUN pada 17 Februari - sewaktu memuncak isu tersebut - tetapi tidak diterima oleh Abdul Khalid dan sebaliknya beliau diarahkan mengambil cuti.Perhimpunan sehingga jam 2.30 petang berakhir dengan acara pembebasan "burung demokrasi" dan jamuan ringan.Pada 24 Februari lalu, satu petisyen yang mengandungi 10,000 tandatangan sokongan kepada Elizabeth diserahkan kepada menteri besar.Kempen sokongan diusahakan oleh sebahagian penduduk Bukit Lanjan.

首先，要祝贺诸公诸婆们（年长的女人，可以叫婆，如姑婆，婆婆等）升官发财！奶茶指的是合法之财，毕竟大马的正副部长，收入还是挺可观的，还是不少津贴及福利，然而这多了几位华裔正副部长，是否就能为大马，特别是华裔带来某个程度上的心宽？还是又一招眼花缭乱的政治花招？诸公们对马华而言，翁会长确实是敢怒敢言，什么10个官位，一个不能少，还是祭出历史数据及理论来支持自己的言论，这份勇气，实在难得！然而这十个官位，是否能有效的挽回已经残留无几的华裔选票？如果官位能扩大自己的政治版图，那争取更多官位，还可以理解，但只从308大选后，马华诸公依然当官，依然有十个联邦政府的官位，但为何华裔选票还不能回流呢？这点，咱们看来要让马华及民政自己来解释。诸婆们老实说，大马政坛还是以男性为主的政治体系，女人能撑起半边天的口号，却没有实际的出现，女性从政者，往往很难难挤入政治主流，所以当副手的，还是比较多，而大马部长的选择标准，看来还是以成员党内的职位来考量的，所以对新内阁，这阴衰的现象，依然不变。老古董哪能期待？这次内阁改组，没能带来太大的惊喜，也看不到更好的排阵，许多阁员之所以被委任，不过是另类的安抚及拉拢成员党，是个政治戏码。请大家不要遐想啦，国阵的政治格局，已经有将近40年的老古董，还期待什么？如果政府的体系不改，这老古董可能就是老骨头，用哪衰弱的身躯，撑着几根老骨头，有骨气但没魄力继续走下去。
两个“后门部长”足挽回华人的心？
纳吉开始意识到华人选票的重要性，不惜通过委任许子根和周美芬为上议员来增加两个华人部长职位。纳吉也够天真了，以为如此就可以笼络华人，他根本不知华人想要什么东西。另外，还给马华多添一个副部长，除了马华爽一下外，关华人什么事？如果还不平等对待非马来人，如果还是贪污腐败，如果还是……两个“后门部长”有何足以挽回华人的心？
两线制，稳定了
叛君，傀儡，回教国，出卖马来人，鸡奸…等等，我想象力再丰富，也猜不出下一个可以操弄的指控是什么。不管下一个指控是什么，可以预测，它的效果都和之前的控诉一样──非常有限。个个看似极具杀伤力的指控，只要票箱一开，个个都成效不彰，为什么？难道每一个出师有名的指控，对保守的马来社群而言不够真实吗？若这些指控不够真实，那么最让人感同深受的事实是什么？是贫穷！国阵执政5O年，多数马来人仍然生活在相对匮乏的环境，印裔的情况更是不堪，国阵任何“真实”的指控他，们已经听不进耳了。早前我们伟大的马爷极罕见的赞扬他最讨厌的邻居——新加坡，他有感而发的说，新加坡政府长期稳健增长国民所得，才是治国的王道。没错，不断增进人民的福祉是治国唯一的路,这条路国阵走了50年,结果如何？国阵还有下一个50年吗，不！它只剩下几年，这剩下的几年国阵有办法扭转马来社群贫穷的情况吗？时间显然站在民联这一边。民联可以说掌握了40%的马来铁票，短时间内没有任何力量可以改变这个事实，换句话说308两线制成形了，407两线制稳定了。
民意内阁，还是党意内阁？
沸腾全城的三场补选过去了。终于等到新首相公布其新内阁团队的日子了。经过新首相一轮的承诺，国阵各成员党领袖一轮的吹捧，评论员们一轮的猜测及人民们一轮的期盼，成绩终于出炉了！不过，也终于让我失望了！国家是由人民组成的。人民经过大选投票投出心中的代议士，中选的代议士组成国会，国会里再选出获得最多代议士支持的一位来当首相，首相再委任其它人组成内阁来领导国家。很清楚也很简单，领导国家的内阁成员必须是能顺从民意的，应该是人民所选出的代表。不过，今天从纳吉所宣布的新内阁名单里，让我觉得这是一个党意内阁，而不是民意内阁。何出此言？让我们来看看：（一） 几个最重要的部门如：内政部长希山慕丁、国防部长阿末扎希、农业部长诺奥玛等，都是在巫统党选中得票最高的几位。（二） 其中几个被除名的前部长如，前旅游部长阿莎丽娜、前内政部长赛哈密、前房屋部长黄家泉及前乡村发展部长莫哈末泰益。这一些人都是在大选中胜出，但，都在各自的党选中落败。（三） 甚至有几个是以上议员的身份当上部长及副部长如，许子根受委为首相署部长，莎丽扎是受委为妇女部长，周美芬出任副妇女部长及阿旺阿迪出任副财长。这一些人都是在全国大选中被人民所嫌弃的败将，但，只因是在各自的党内担任要职，就理所当然地被委任部长职。这一份新内阁名单似乎想告诉大家，党选比大选来得重要。只要在党中争得高位，哪怕在大选中惨败， 还是可以走后门分得一官半职！衷心一句，我们需要的是民意内阁，是贤能内阁，而不是党意内阁，不是无能内阁！

Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad had no effect on the April 7 by-elections and this shows that people do not want him anymore, says Datuk Zaid Ibrahim.
The former law minister, who has had a running feud with the former prime minister since his move last year to compensate judges sacked by Dr Mahathir in the 1987 judicial crisis, said this in an interview on the “Fairly Current Show”, a short programme that aired on the Internet yesterday.
Zaid, who is widely expected to join Pakatan Rakyat — most likely PKR — soon, also added that his former party, Umno, was too weak to stand up to Dr Mahathir and members were afraid of being ousted like Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, who stepped down as prime minister last week after years of criticism by his predecessor Dr Mahathir.
"There were thousands of people in Sungai Petani they say, but clearly there was no effect," he said of Dr Mahathir's stop in Bukit Selambau in a two-stop blitz that included Bukit Gantang on the last day of campaigning in the by-elections.
PR, in fact, increased its majority in the two seats which, Zaid said, was an indicator of Dr Mahathir's unpopularity.
"He feels that people still want him. This is the problem with strongmen who some call dictators. Sometimes, they don't know they are surrounded by people who tell them their leadership is still needed," he said.
He added that it was the same throughout history, citing Suharto, the former president of Indonesia, and Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe, who also "do not know when they are unwanted".
However, in a recent blog posting, Dr Mahathir continued to insist that Abdullah was still "entirely responsible for all the ills" in Barisan Nasional which led to the electoral defeats as "a leader plays a big role especially in Malaysia and the quality of his leadership affects the behaviour and performance of his subordinates."
Zaid also mocked the idea that Umno wanted its longest-serving president back.
"It is not that Umno wants to take him back but he wants to rejoin. But nobody is brave enough to stop him. This shows Umno is very weak and its leaders are not brave enough to stand up to him because they are afraid of ending up like Pak Lah," he said of Abdullah, who was handpicked by Dr Mahathir but then suffered years of harsh criticism from him.
Zaid cited, as an example, the fact that Khairy Jamaluddin, Abdullah's son-in-law, won comfortably ahead of Dr Mahathir's son Datuk Mukhriz in the Umno Youth chief contest because "he interfered. If not it would be a tougher fight".
Zaid and Dr Mahathir most recently clashed in a war of words over the appointment of Datuk Seri Najib Razak as prime minister, with Dr Mahathir calling Zaid's plea to the King not to appoint Najib "very stupid".

惊讶多名大选落败者受委入阁
民主行动党秘书长林冠英表示，对那些在上届大选中落败及被选民唾弃的人，依然受委为内阁正部长及副部长职位一事，感到惊讶。虽然如此，也是槟州首席部长的林冠英发表文告，特别祝贺民政党主席许子根升级成为首相署部长。“我们期望他以槟州子民的利益为前提执行其部长的任务。许子根更应该把握这次的机会，实现民政党对槟城人的承诺——也就是向中央政府讨回价值数十亿、已经被搁置或取消的多项惠民计划，包括单轨轻快铁、提升槟州的公共交通及道路计划、治水计划、旅游及古迹计划，以及提升州内的治安系统等计划。”
纳吉与伯拉一样妥协
至于政治分析家邱继平（左图）则在其部落格即时回应说，纳吉新出炉的内阁名单并不存在任何令人感到惊喜的原素。这是因为如同阿都拉，纳吉必须与国阵成员党妥协。然而他指出，凯里不入阁，反之慕克里兹却受委官职，是纳吉作出的最具争议性决定。邱继平认为纳吉无法合理化其举动，并会被视为与马哈迪存有协议。他认为，纳吉显然是为了化解马哈迪对其政府的批评，所以才不按照惯例，委任巫青团长凯里入阁。此举，将会在部分巫青团员之间形成不安，尤其是阿都拉及凯里的派系。邱继平也认为，民政党主席许子根出任首相署部长兼管团结事务，已经违背他在全国大选角逐槟州峇都加湾（Batu Kawan）国会议席时，所许下的若落败将不会接受成为上议员当部长的说法
重用沙巴领袖，安抚东马议员
按照传统，马华拥有4名部长及6名副部长的配额，这次增加了1名副部长。至于民政，本来在308大选后只剩下2名副部长，但随着许子根入阁，则增加了1名部长名额。隆雪华堂总执行长陈亚才（左图）说，这种分配方式，显示了国阵已经意识到，国内华裔的支持度，已在不断流失。此外，他也说，沙巴州此次获得分配4名部长职，主要是国阵要安抚和稳定东马的议员。“308大选后，国阵的东马议席变得非常重要，一些风吹草动随时可让国阵政府垮台。”
新内阁不够专业违背民主意愿
也是八打灵再也北区国会议员的潘俭伟说，最重要的是，纳吉违反了一贯的委任上议员传统，让新内阁缺少了专业性。“一般而言，上议员都不是搞政治的。政府委任上议员入阁，多是选择专业人士，以让内阁更专业。”“但是这次入阁的上议员，全是从政者，而且都是在308全国大选中落败的人。”潘俭伟表示，这种做法肯定是违背了民主制度，也与人民的投票意愿相冲。过去入阁上议员都是专业人士在纳吉宣布的新内阁名单中，妇女、家庭与社会发展部长莎丽扎、副部长周美芬、首相署部长许子根，皆是在大选中落败，但通过出任上议员而进入内阁。其中周美芬，正是遭受政治新星潘俭伟击败，把灵北区国席拱手让人。按照一般的情况，通过受委上议员而入阁者，都是具有专业知识或才能者，才会被首相招揽入阁，例如著名律师再益曾出任掌管法律事务的首相署部长、银行家阿米尔山曾出任掌管经济策划组的首相署部长，金融家诺莫哈末曾出掌第二财长等。许子根和周美芬，分别是民政党全国主席及马华妇女组主席。这两个华基政党，在此次的内阁改组中，获得重视，皆增加了官职配额。
选举落败者入阁违民主意愿
首相纳吉公布的新内阁名单，被评论人形容为惊喜不足，既保持臃肿阵容，也没有出现太多的新面孔。评论人及在野党认为，这支“纳吉团队”拥有两个特点，即：（一）大选落败者全通过受委上议员方式，“走后门”入阁；及（二）国阵开始意识到华人票流失，以及东马议员的重要性。民主行动党宣传主任潘俭伟（左图）向《当今大马》指出，虽然早前各界普遍预测，新内阁将会出现大瘦身，然而事实是此次削减的幅度不大。“虽然减少了一些部长，但是却也增加了副部长名额，依然保持庞大的阵容。”

For all the optimistic sentiments over a reform-minded government - carefully manufactured by the Umno-linked media and the Barisan Nasional-friendly press, the new cabinet line-up as announced by Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak yesterday was a big let-down.

败选证明纳吉仍有待说服人民
民联在4月7日的三场补选，胜武吉干当和武吉士南卯，输峇当艾，增加放眼下届大选执政的信心。砂州峇当艾是一个朴素的小地方，人民在资讯上非常落伍，对去年西马政治大变天来龙去脉欠缺了解，因此民联不易攻破它传统满足于国阵糖果政策的思维。在资讯唾手可得的西马则不然，人民知识水平高，现在不少人已经不会盲目接受政治人物的言论了！在环境上，国阵比民联条件更好。首先，补选拖了整两个月，这让巫统领袖不必同时应付党选和补选。其次，国阵策划霹雳州变天，拖久了导致不满者情绪淡化。其三，国阵出现了大马新首相，理应让人民对它抱着期盼，使支持在野党的选民回流。可是反风仍然延续，人民真的思变，国阵未能扭转乾坤。竞选期间，国阵三番四次地恳求选民给它们机会，真的匪夷所思，这番话应该是出自民联的口才对！人民已经给了国阵51年机会，是时候它必须以行动改变来讨好人心了！巫统再不改变，必定拖累国阵。当民联打着“不分种族”的牌时，巫统仍然高举马来人主权，无形中就是政治自杀。它们只一味归咎安华是分裂马来人的罪魁，而不检讨内部仍然炽热的贪污和金钱政治现象。民联胜国会议席，对霹州和整个国家的民主进展是一件好事。原本属于国阵的武吉干当，现在却飞走了！国阵须解读霹州选民对它夺权的行动表示不满，尼查胜出，表示人民还是要他作州务大臣。换句话说，在民主社会里，在朝在野阵线要执政的话，应该通过选票方式。巫统在峇东埔和瓜登国席败选时患上否定民心思变的症候群，没有迅速改变。它们在巫统大会没有关注如何带领国阵跑超种族路线的课题，以便与在这课题上跑在前方的民联拼一天下。希望武吉干当的败选，巫统会痛定思痛，带领国阵作出不分种族利惠人民的政策以证明决心改变。相反的，巫统若赢，它就不会改变。因为现在有民联作为竞争的对象，国阵不改变的话，人民就会改变它。纳吉作为新首相，现在打着“一个马来西亚”的牌，必须勇于说服支持巫统的马来人秉持开明态度去与其它族群共同分享公民的利益，国阵才会成功。纳吉必须勇于迅速改变，因为拖久了，譬如废除新经济政策课题，巫统向来以“还未到时候”而一再不想废除，类似这样例子只让人民看到国阵没诚意。“一个马来西亚”，应该包括使公民没有“土著”和“非土著”之分。总结，我看到这三场补选成绩，为大马引进了政治的进步。大马有希望进一步成为全世界多元种族和谐相处及同心合力的模范。这才是真材实料的“大马能！”
双武败选让马华前途堪忧
双武补选已尘埃落定，国阵先放话要3-0胜民联，我说3-0是神话，赢两席者已算得天下和民心。成绩最终是民联以2-1胜出了。这两席的成绩除了让新首相纳吉大感吃不消，也让马华感觉到大事不妙了。在武吉士南卯州席，占总选民超过50%的马来票没有如预期倾向国阵，而华、印选票也没有回流国阵。在22个投票站中，国阵只在7个站领先民联。华、印票更是几乎一面倒向民联。虽说这场补选也考验回教党主导的吉打州政府，特别是在保留土著50%房屋固打制课题上。但补选成绩显示，华印选民还是对民联州政府有一定的容忍度，选民也肯再给民联机会继续改善治政的方针，毕竟民联才掌政一年。在武吉干当国席，国阵特别是巫统还可以靠“种族主义牌”和“保皇牌”赢得一些保守巫裔的选票。反观，华裔投给国阵的选票却比308降了近20%，在十八丁和新板这两个华裔票仓更是让国阵特别是马华丢尽了脸，此时拨款一百万给华校也争取不到华裔选票。新首相为了营造各族一家亲，上任后不惜在大热太阳，马上到茨厂街走一趟，让人感觉他多么爱民和重视各族。但在武吉干当这，巫统却指之前的民联政府发出永远地契给华人新村是在出卖马来主权。国阵你是在当人民白痴吗？不要自打嘴巴好吗？在民联特别是公正党面对内忧外患，多灾多难之下也可以打出如此漂亮的成绩，马华应该看见自己将来的前途了吧？马华会死就是死在巫统手里，马华几乎已失去大部份华裔的支持，选民再也看不过一党独大的情景。华裔不支持马华，巫印票又不回流，马华你等着打包吧！一日马华无法在主流政府里，做到公平发展和对待华社特别是华小课题上，马华就无法得到华社的支持。如在新首相的治理下，依旧没有做到加强及贯彻公平对待各种群，马华时日应该也不多了。就如前首相敦阿都拉所说如不改变，308将是国阵最后一次组织政府。第二副首相职，马华你不必争拉，没你的份！民政党就更不必谈拉，继续做你的 “政治乞丐”好了。周美芬说败选是预料中的事，马华已尽了力。翁总更不像话，说双武的失利不代表国阵惨败，因为国阵在砂州巴当艾州议席大胜。小弟要告诉翁总，你所谓的惨败下届大选就会来到，你等着瞧吧!p/s：以上纯属小弟个人看法，希望不会得罪马华和民政党。

讽马哈迪帮倒忙应到巴当艾助选

所以很多選民都說補選真好，只有有選舉，選民才是真正的老闆，因此補選豈能不萬歲麼？

尼查雖然是回教黨州務大臣，然而，他的開明和親和力，一洗非馬來人對回教黨領導人的印象。尼查在華印社會得到的踴躍支持，毫無疑問。

PKR tahan bas, polis tahan petugas
Petugas PKR DUN Bukit Selambau menahan dan membawa sebuah bas yang dipercayai membawa pengundi hantu ke ibu pejabat polis daerah (IPD) Gurun kira-kira jam 11.25 pagi tadi.Naib ketua AMK, Feriz Musa berkata, petugas PKR mengesan kehadiran bas tersebut tetapi tidak tahu ke mana ia pergi.Bagaiamanpun, katanya, bas itu dikesan semula di Kampung Bukit Lembu pagi tadi.Katanya, selepas diperiksa petugas mendapati penumpang bukan orang tempatan."Berikutan itu kita mengsyaki mereka adalah pengundi hantu dan membuat keputusan menghantarnya ke IPD Gurun," katanya ketika dihubungi hari ini.Feriz berkata, beliau dimaklumkan bas berkenaan telah mula dikesan masuk ke Bukit Selambau tengah malam tadi.Katanya, pihaknya akan terus membuat pemantauan bagi mengesan kemungkinan ada bas lain yang membawa pengundi hantu ke Bukit Selambau.Polis tahan dua lelakiSementara itu, polis melepaskan bas yang disyaki membawa pengundi hantu di Bukit Selambau, tetapi menahan dua lelaki yang dipercyai penyokong Pakatan Rakyat yang menahan bas tersebut.Menurut pengawai perhubungan media polis Bukit Selambau, Hanzan Darus, kedua-dua mereka yang berusia 37 dan 54 tahun, ditahan di bawah Seksyen 341 Kanun Keseksaan.Bas dan 32 penumpangnya yang terdiri daripada ahli Umno Padang Besar, berhenti bermalam di Bukit Lembu di Sungai Petani selepas menghadiri majlis bersama Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad semalam.
Ketika hendak bertolak dari Bukit Lembu untuk merayu undi bagi calon BN, Datuk S Ganesan, mereka ditahan oleh dua lelaki kerana didakwa membawa pengundi hantu.Menurut polis, dua lelaki yang memandu kereta jenis Toyota Avanza, memotong bas tersebut dan memaksanya berhenti. Mereka kemudiannya menaiki bas tersebut dan menghalang pemandunya daripada meneruskan perjalanan.Seorang pemandu bas tersebut, kemudiannya menghubungi polis dan bas serta dua lelaki berkenaan dibawa ke balai polis Gurun untuk siasatan lanjut.Polis bagaimanapun, melepaskan penumpang bas tersebut selepas memeriksa status mereka dengan senarai nama pemilih.Mafrel pula melaporkan bahawa pemantaunya juga telah mengesan dua buah bas yang disyaki membawa pengundi hantu.Sebuah daripada bas tersebut dilihat di Taman Ria Jaya, manakala sebuah lagi dilihat menghala ke Tasek Apong. Penumpangnya mendakwa mereka adalah penyokong BN dari Alor Star.
Ketika hendak bertolak dari Bukit Lembu untuk merayu undi bagi calon BN, Datuk S Ganesan, mereka ditahan oleh dua lelaki kerana didakwa membawa pengundi hantu.Menurut polis, dua lelaki yang memandu kereta jenis Toyota Avanza, memotong bas tersebut dan memaksanya berhenti. Penumpangnya mendakwa mereka adalah penyokong BN dari Alor Star.
Pakatan kuasai 2 Bukit, BN di Btg Ai
Calon PKR S Manikumar meraih 12,632 undi, meninggalkan calon BN Datuk S Ganesan dengan 10,229 undi. Ahli perniagaan muda itu, yang bakal dilantik exco kerajaan Kedah, mendapat majoriti 2,403 undi, lebih 40 undi daripada majoriti V Arumugam yang melepaskan jawatan dan kerusi tersebut dengan alasan nyawanya diancam. Kesemua 13 calon bebas hilang wang deposit - mencipta satu lagi rekod selepas kertas undi terbesar dalam sejarah Malaysia. PAS memenangi kerusi parlimen Bukit Gantang dengan majoriti 2,789 undi. Calonnya Datuk Seri Mohamad Nizar Jamaluddin mendapati 21,860 undi, manakala calon BN Ismail Saffian mendapat 19,071 undi. Calon bebas mendapat 62 undi dan hilang wang deposit.
Keputusan ini bermakna PAS mengekalkan kerusi tersebut dengan tambahan majoriti, berbanding 1,566 undi pada 2008.
Kejayaan PAS itu disambut oleh para penyokongnya dengan membakar bunga api di kawasan padang dekat dewan penjumlahan undi.
Tidak rasmi. Di DUN Bukit Selambau, calon PKR S Manikumar secara tidak rasmi menang dengan majoriti 2,375 undi. Beliau mendapat 12,607 undi, manakala calon BN Datuk S Ganesan memperolehi 10,232 undi.Manikumar menambah beberapa puluh undi sahaja berbanding majoriti 2,362 undi V Arumugam pada 2008.Kesemua 13 calon bebas hilang wang pertaruhan.
8.52pm Tidak rasmi. PKR menang di Bukit Selambau, majoriti lebih kurang sama dengan yang dicapai oleh V Arumugam.8.20pm Maklumat rasmi. PAS hampir mencapai kemenangan apabila mendahului di Bukit Gantang dengan majoriti 3,022. PAS mendapat 18,881 dan BN memperolehi 15,859 undi. Sebanyak 96 kotak undi telah dikira, kini tinggal 16 kotak lagi. PKR juga mendahului di Bukit Selambau.

Sementara bagi beberapa pusat pembuangan undi di Batang Ai yang ditutup jam 2 petang, kotak-kotak sudah dibuka untuk pengiraan mulai pukul 3 petang tadi di pusat penjumlahan undi.Di Bukit Gantang, persaingan sengit antara calon BN Ismail Saffian dengan Datuk Seri Mohamad Nizar Jamaluddin (PAS). Di Bukit Selambau, dua daripada 15 calon menjadi tumpuan utama - S Manikumar (PKR) dan Datuk S Ganesan (BN), manakala di Batang Ai, majoriti yang bakal diperolehi BN menjadi fokus utama.
Pengiraan kotak undi dari 14 pusat pengundian di Batang Ai. Ia bermula pada jam 3 petang di pusat perjumlahan di kompleks sukan Lubok Antu.Berdasarkan pengiraan undi setakat ini, BN mendahului, dengan memperolehi 331 undi, manakala PKR mendapat 300 undi. Rakyat belum maafkan BN
dikemaskini analisis Kejayaan Pakatan Rakyat mengekalkan Bukit Gantang dan Bukit Selambau dengan pertambahan majoriti membuktikan rakyat terus-menerus menolak BN walaupun pilihanraya umum sudah setahun berlalu.Kemenangan itu juga menunjukkan rakyat Malaysia masih belum memaafkan BN walaupun Umno - tulang belakang gabungan itu - dan negara sudah bertukar kepemimpinan kepada Datuk Seri Najib Razak.BN yang melontarkan slogan "mohon restu rakyat, pilih Barisan Nasional" dengan gambar besar Najib dan barisan pemimpinnya jelas gagal mendapatkan restu tersebut - sama ada terhadap beliau sendiri atau menteri besar BN yang baru, Datuk Zambry Abd Kadir.Seperti dihasratkan oleh Pakatan, ia akhirnya menjadi "pungutan suara" terhadap perdana menteri baru itu yang belum lagi sempat membariskan kabinetnya sejak mengangkat sumpah, Jumaat lepas. Najib dijangka mengumumkan kabinet baru tengah hari esok.Kejayaan menteri besar Pakatan di Perak, Datuk Seri Mohamad Nizar Jamaluddin mengekalkan kerusi parlimen itu - di kubu tradisi Umno - juga menunjukkan bahawa rakyat tidak merestui rampasan kuasa BN di negeri tersebut, Februari lalu.Ia juga membuktikan strategi kempen BN yang cuba menggambarkan Mohamad Nizar sebagai seorang "penderhaka" kepada Sultan Perak tidak diterima pengundi. Kini bukan sahaja beliau, malah seluruh Bukit Gantang juga "mohon derhaka" - ucapan yang disampaikan sewaktu ingin berbeza pandangan dengan Sultan Azlan Shah di kemuncak krisis dengan Istana Kinta.Kepemimpinan PAS dilihat tepat membaca politik apabila memilih ADUN Pasir Panjang itu sebagai calonnya di saat-saat akhir untuk memanfaatkan suasana tidak menentu di negeri itu.Kehadiran mantan perdana menteri Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad - yang kembali kepada Umno, Sabtu lalu - juga tidak banyak membantu.Malah, dipercayai kalangan penyokong Umno akan menyalahkan kehadiran bekas presiden Umno itu atas kekalahan teruk BN di dua kawasan pilihanraya kecil tersebut.Mohamad Nizar meraih majoriti 2,789 undi apabila menewaskan calon BN Ismail Saffian yang mendapat 19,071 undi. Arwah wakil rakyat PAS Roslan Shaharum memperolehi 1,566 undi - kali pertama parti itu menawan kubu BN berkenaan.Sementara calon PKR S Manikumar (foto, kanan sekali) yang mengekalkan kemenangan bekas wakil rakyatnya V Arumugam menunjukkan calon muka baru tidak menjadi isu kepada pengundi parti pimpinan Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.Walaupun PKR berdepan dengan krisis kecil susulan pemilihan mengejut Manikumar, yang bakal dilantik sebagai exco kerajaan Kedah, tetapi sokongan pengundi di DUN Selambau tetap tidak berubah.Ahli perniagaan di awal 30-an itu menang dengan majoriti 2,403 undi dengan meraih 12,632 undi. Manakala calon BN Datuk S Ganesan memperolehi 10,229 undi. Arumugam, waktu itu calon bebas, meraih 2,362 undi.Daripada lima pilihanraya kecil dalam tempoh sembilan bulan sejak Ogos lalu, Pakatan menang empat kerusi dengan majoriti yang semakin besar, termasuk merampas Kuala Terengganu, Januari lepas - gejala yang menunjukkan BN semakin hilang cengkaman di peringkat akar umbi masyarakat.Bagaimanapun ia masih berkuku di Batang Ai apabila calonnya Malcolm Mussen Lamoh berjaya menggandakan majoritinya kepada 1,854 undi daripada 806 yang diraih pada pilihanraya Sarawak, 2006. Kegagalan PKR menggugat BN, setidak-tidaknya menurunkan majoriti parti itu, membayangkan parti pembangkang itu harus bekerja lebih keras bagi menghadapi pilihanraya negeri yang bakal diadakan selewat-lewatnya pada 2011.Ia juga boleh mengendurkan keghairahan penasihat PKR untuk melebarkan sayapnya ke Malaysia Timur seperti sering diuar-uarkan setelah menggondol keyakinan baru selepas keputusan luar biasa 8 Mac tahun lalu.Tiga pilihanraya kecil serentak ini dengan jelas mempertahankan status quo - menajamkan lagi persaingan politik antara Pakatan dengan BN, dengan satu perbezaan iaitu Najib pula menggalas beban Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi. Bekas presiden Umno dan perdana menteri itu dipaksa berundur awal dengan alasan beliau punca utama kemerosotan BN pada pilihanraya ke-12. Bagaimanapun keputusan di Bukit Gantang, Bukit Selambau dan Batang Ai hari ini tidak menunjukkan Najib boleh memperbaiki kelemahan Abdullah dengan segera kecuali harus terus melaksanakan janji reformasi seperti formula kemenangan BN pada 2004. Mengulas kemenangannya, Mohamad Nizar berkata ia menunjukkan rakyat mahukan demokrasi sebenar dan akan menjadikan kejayaan ini untuk menuntut pembubaran DUN Perak bagi membolehkan satu pilihanraya peringkat negeri diadakan. Lim, juga ahli parlimen Ipoh Timur, malah menyifatkan keputusan itu sebagai tanda rakyat hilang kepercayaan kepada Najib dan menggesa sidang tergempar Dewan Rakyat untuk menguji sokongan terhadapnya.Sambil menyifatkan rahsia kemenangan Pakatan Rakyat pada kerjasama erat tiga parti pembangkang, Anwar memberitahu Malaysiakini malam ini, bahawa keputusan itu membayangkan semua kaum tetap mahu menuntut perubahan walaupun Najib telah menggantikan Abdullah. Timbalan presiden Umno yang memikul jentera kempen BN kali ini menafikan kegagalannya sebagai "pungutan suara" terhadap Najib. Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin malah berkata rakyat belum "menyerap" perubahan pucuk kepimpinan negara dan Umno kerana ia masih terlalu baru. Selain menafikan keputusan di Bukit Gantang sebagai tanda penolakan terhadap rampasan kuasa BN di Perak, beliau juga menolak tanggapan bahawa kehadiran Dr Mahathir membawa kesan "negatif" kepada calon parti itu.

虽然早前吉打州武吉士南卯州议席补选竞争激烈，出现13名独立人士加入战围，形成15人大混战，创下史上最多候选人及最大张选票的记录。但是开票成绩显示，308大选海啸余威犹在，公正党几乎以同样多数票保住这个州议席。在笃定当选后，公正党候选人马尼古玛已现身在双溪大年技术学院计票中心，并开始获得支持者及其他党领袖包括公正党副主席阿兹敏的恭贺（右图右）。而吉打州务大臣阿兹占也已经抵达计票中心，并与马尼古玛道贺。并没有任何一名国阵领袖现身在计票中心内。随着这项胜利，马尼古玛也将一跃龙门，出任吉打州行政议员。早前由于公正党实权领袖安华忽略多名党内资深印裔领袖，而挑选属于政治菜鸟的马尼古玛出征，结果一度掀起党内内讧，更一度招致兴权会领袖杯葛，导致其竞选之路一度不被看好。非正式成绩显示，公正党获得12632张票，国阵国大党则赢得10229张票，多数票是2403票，比去年全国大选前任州议员阿鲁慕甘（V Arumugam）所赢得的多数票，微增41张。在2008年大选时，阿鲁慕甘以独立人士身份，获得1万3225张选票，或2362张多数票，击败国阵候选人克里斯南（S Krishnan）。阿鲁慕甘在胜选后，宣布加入公正党，并出任吉打州行政议员。据悉，在计票中途，得知胜利无望之后，国大党位于双溪大年的竞选总部已经“人去楼空”，支持者纷纷失望地离开。至于一度令人眼花缭乱的13名独立候选人却丝毫无法获得选民的欢心，总共获得1200张选票，无一人成功保住本身的按柜金。每名正式登记竞选州议席候选人的按柜金是5千令吉，若无法获得总票数的8分之一，就会被全数充公。获得最多选票的独立候选人是安努亚，他使用电话标志，共获得528张票。

备受瞩目的三场补选成绩终于出炉，民联成功以更高的多数票，保住霹雳州武吉干当国会议席与吉打州武吉士南卯州议席，国会反对党领袖安华认为，这显示民联所获得的支持度，比去年大选更高。不过，在砂拉越的巴当艾州议席补选，国阵同样以更高的1854张多数票成功蝉联。虽换新首相，国人仍求变针对人民通过选票所传达的讯息，安华通过电话受访时说，“虽然换了新首相，但是国人求变的心依然没有改变。”“他们对民联的支持，显然增加了。”从未想过赢得巴当艾补选询及去年308大选的政治海啸是否仍延续至今，安华表示，“这是肯定的”。“我非常满意补选的成绩，我们从来没有想过会在巴当艾胜出。”针对霹雳州是否应该重新举行州选举，安华重申，这是肯定的，霹雳州应该重新选举。询及民联胜利的最关键因素，也是人民公正党实权领袖的安华表示，这是因为民联3个成员党能够合作无间的一起助选。他说，虽然主流媒体对民联做出各种污蔑报道，加上国阵在补选中大晒金钱，但是民联成功排除万难，取得最终的胜利。

昨晚新鲜出炉的三合一补选成绩，民联以更高票保双武吉补选，而国阵也增加巴当艾的多数票，乍看之下双方似乎平分秋色，保住原有的议席。但西马半岛两场补选的成绩，却是对巫统的一大重挫。巫统欲借助新首相纳吉接棒、马哈迪重返巫统的效应，以缔造巫统及马来人大团结的政治氛围，来重挫民联的企图已经宣告失败。纳吉一接任新首相就马上宣布解除两家党报的禁令，并释放2名兴权会领袖，以及马哈迪旋即在纳吉拜相第二日就宣布重返巫统，并在最后一天为国阵助选的“双剑合璧”大政治动作一度成功营造来势汹汹的气势，几乎使到民联处于招架无力之势。尼查改变华社对回教党的看法此外，巫统更在武吉干当极力抨击原任霹雳州务大臣尼查“叛君”及“行动党傀儡”，试图挑起乡区马来人民族主义情绪的狭隘政治议程，再次被证明无法奏效。
在这三场补选中最具象征意义的首推武吉干当补选，尼查以几乎更高一倍的多数票胜出，显示民联主打霹雳州变天民意公投的政治议程获得强烈的民意背书，也是对纳吉一手策划的夺权变天投下不信任票。随着民联在武吉干当补选大胜之后，霹雳国阵州政府的正当性显然受到严重的质疑。民联在双武吉补选以更高或几乎同样的多数票胜出后，显示308大选海啸的余威犹在，人民求变的意愿不受到新首相上任或旧势力回潮的影响。巫统及国阵在补选中，继续玩弄民族主义议程，包括马来民族主义及操弄华社对回教党的恐吓牌，以及洒选举糖果的发展牌，显然已经遇到了免疫体。不管巫统再如何努力玩弄种族课题，回教党及民联的马来社会基本盘根本不会动摇，巫统及国阵的马来票也不会增加，反之却可能流失更多的非马来选票。民联在武吉干当的非马来选票，尤其是十八丁区的得票增加大约15%，就是一个铁证。更具象征意义的是尼查经过这一轮的民意考验，已经成功透过其亲民形象打破一般非马来社会对回教党领袖的偏见，似乎成为继安华之后，另一名获得华裔及印裔欢迎的马来领袖，成功打造跨越种族的政治形象。喜欢不喜欢，补选成绩对新任首相纳吉而言，肯定是一项信心公投。纳吉勿以为透过一些表面的改革，如探访三族的基层之旅，拜访报馆以及设立网站的表现包装，就能够彻底改变其形象。与其花更多的时间继续玩弄包装，到不如实事求是推行符合民意的政策，比如说废除包括内安法令在内的恶法、改善经济以及痛下决心杜绝贪污。印裔没回流国大党三美敲丧钟至于武吉士南卯补选，显然是掴了国大党“重新包装工程” 一记响亮的耳光，及为不肯退休的三美维鲁政治生命敲丧钟。补选成绩显示印裔社会并没有因为国阵政府的各种招安及收编做法而回流。若国阵政府没有推出全盘公平扶持各族的社会及经济议程，来提升他们边缘化的处境，那么印裔社会自兴权会之后所爆发的不满，仍然难以平息。安华遴选候选人方式备受诟病然而三合一补选仍然暴露出民联内部的整合问题以及议员整体素质有待提升，而安华在武吉士南卯及巴当艾补选上，遴选候选人的不透明决策显然引人诟病，甚至爆发补选期间难以抚平的内讧。作为一个崛起自街头及宣称走民众路线的新政党，安华纵然有无以伦比的群众魅力，也必须拿出一套服众的标准来调兵遣将，否则未来类似的内讧势必越演越烈，尤其是掌控检控大权的国阵也在旁虎视眈眈。安华遴选候选人最大的失策，虽然在民联本身执政的吉打州武吉士南卯还获得一定程度的弥补，但是却在该党势力单薄的砂劳越遭到老树盘根的国阵势力痛击，对他可说是一记当头棒喝。这也显示民联若要扎根东马尤其是砂拉越，以进军布城中央政府的政治企图，有待努力。从阿鲁慕干因为涉及婚外情以及国阵威迫跳槽，被迫呈去行政议员及州议员职；到前槟州第一副首长法鲁斯在备受涉贪丑闻及派系斗争的情况下呈辞，以及雪州行政议员黄洁冰卷入私密照风波，在在显示公正党许多凭着政治海啸效应，意外当选的“海啸议员”正是民联三党中的最弱一环，更容易招致他人圈中阴谋攻击。在竞争激烈，鱼死网破，只问目的不问手段的恶质政治斗争环境中，政治改革先行者如何慎言谨行，并具体铺成具体的改革方案，以及争取拉拢更多的社会基础支持，以挫败保守势力的猛烈反扑，需要有一个更灵活、更全面的规划，而不能继续陶醉在前一波的政治海啸效应中。三合一补选象征来到新转折点从宏观的政治层面来解读，旧势力回潮有令人厌倦的一刻，新政治海啸的冲击也有消退的一天，三合一补选正式象征着去年大选政治海啸效应及旧政治开始到了一个新的转折点。接下来的我国政治竞争将会进入如何落实改革议程，比真功夫的新阶段了，那些整日依赖旧政治效应，吹嘘的政客真面目将会被逐步揭开。

After hastily ridding itself of Pak Lah as president, Umno has continued with unholy haste to reinstate Mahathir as a member even though he resigned and thumbed his nose at the same organisation.That his membership was confirmed with a number as soon as the form was submitted should be cause enough for the ROS to investigate for irregularity.How can any one now say who is a member of Umno as admission is on the spot and membership numbers are recycled?But more to the point is the fact that Mahathir's return is to crow about himself, the puppet master, getting rid of Pak Lah.Can't Umno see that it being shown as unprincipled by admitting the jeer leader of their immediate past president? PAS dan BN masing-masing merasa calon mereka menang di Parlimen Bukit Gantang berdasarkan perkembangan terakhir menjelang hari mengundi esok.PAS meramalkan Datuk Seri Mohd Nizar Jamaluddin menang dengan mendapat 60 peratus sokongan pengundi, termasuk sokongan padu pengundi kaum Cina yang berjumlah kira-kira 15,000 orang.Umno pula mendakwa kehadiran mantan Perdana Menteri Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad membantu berkempen calon BN, Ismail Saffian pagi tadi akan menarik sokongan pengundi Melayu serta pengundi atas pagar.Ketua Pemuda PAS Perak, Norazli Musa ketika dihubungi hari ini berkata, Mohamed Nizar yang juga menteri besar Pakatan di Perak, boleh menang dengan majoriti sekurang-kurangnya 1,000 undi."Kedudukan terkini ialah Datuk Seri Mohd Nizar mendapat sokongan padu dari pengundi kaum Cina. 林冠英亮相助选吸引两千人潮
林冠英在竞选活动最后一夜，现身武吉士南卯拉拔民联的人气，成功吸引2000民众蜂拥而至，一睹其风采。他提醒当地选民，切勿让国阵赢得补选，导致去年的308海啸前功尽弃。民主行动党今晚在福德祠大会堂大会堂举行晚宴，宴开约120席，不过未购票的民众却像流水般不断涌入，将大会堂挤得水泄不通。出席的2000民众来自三大种族。也是行动党秘书长的林冠英在晚上9点左右到场，立即获得现场民众的热烈鼓掌和呼声欢迎，掌声不断长达5分钟时间。“巫统沦为反对党让人爽快”林冠英一上台就提醒民众，在补选中支持国阵，将导致308大选所带来的改变前功尽弃，一切将打回原形。“51年以后，称呼巫统为反对党，爽不爽？要继续爽的话，明天就给国阵倒！”大力宣传槟州政府各项政绩林冠英在演讲中，带领群众高喊去年大选时行动党的竞选口号“要改变，投火箭”，以示回味过去取得的胜利。此外，他也冗长地讲述民联槟州政府执政以后的各项政绩，惟台下观众没有丝毫不耐的反应，反而听得津津有味。林吉祥：再次创造政治海啸另一方面，较早发表演讲，也是林冠英父亲的林吉祥则呼吁武吉士南卯的选民，在明天投票时，创造第二波的政治海啸，投票一举将两任首相纳吉和马哈迪给否决。他表示，投票支持民联也就是要求纳吉设立皇家委员会，以调查阿旦杜亚命案，并告诉国阵“马哈迪主义”是一项错误。此外，由于较早传出选票并未注明候选人编号的消息，因此公正党也在现场广泛派发投选其候选人马尼古玛的选票样本，以提醒选民如何识别。
双溪拉浪千人演讲做最后冲刺
竞选活动即将结束之际，公正党领袖纷纷表达对武吉士南卯补选充满信心，其候选人马尼古玛更在选结束前，放话要以更高多票数重夺该州议席。他今晚在双溪拉浪（Sungai Lalang）行动室前举行的讲座会中声称，“上届大选时，我们是以2500（多数）票胜出，而现在我们要以3000（多数）票胜出”。而公正党实权领袖安华随后上台演讲时也开玩笑说，马尼古玛所估计的3000票还略显太少。他宣称，公正党将可以5000多数票重新拿下武吉士南卯州议席。赛夫丁：已超越一万基本票较后，公正党策略局主任赛夫丁举行新闻发布会时，也同样认为公正党有良好的胜算。他指出，公正党所能获得的票数，已超越1万票的基本盘。他也有信心，独立人士不会分散公正党的选票，因为根据他们的选情分析，独立人士最多只能分散3%的选票。三千民众冒雨聆听安华演讲昨晚在双溪拉浪举行的竞选讲座会也是公正党的压轴竞选活动，总共吸引约3000名来自各族的民众前来聆听演说，为马尼古玛作竞选最后冲刺。虽然讲座中途一度下起了雨，但是民众并因此没有散去，他们部分坚持站在原地聆听演讲，部分撑起了伞，或拿起塑胶布挡雨，一些则转移到骑楼避雨，继续聆听讲座。除了公正党领袖外，行动党槟州第二副首席部长拉马沙米和前巫统首相署部长再益，也纷纷为马尼古玛站台演讲。“败选蒙古鬼将来索取更多”作为压轴主讲人的安华在晚上11点半上台演讲，敦促选民必须将选票投给公正党候选人，以便稳固民联吉打州政府。他甚至调侃地警告说，“如果输掉一个议席，则蒙古鬼将会来索取更多”，明显是暗指新任首相纳吉在霹雳州夺权。此外，他也重申，如果马尼古玛能够中选为武吉士南卯州议员，他将会成为行政议员。他表示，马尼古玛除了代表印裔社会外，也会公平对待华人和马来人。阿兹敏讥巫统用旧报纸竞选此外，公正党副主席阿兹敏阿里（Azmin Ali）在同样的讲座上，大力反击今午落力为国阵助选的前首相马哈迪。他嘲笑说，巫统到现在还在使用“旧报纸”来竞选。“他们有新的主席，有新的署理主席，他们已进行权力转移，并声称民众会更有信心。为什么还要引用旧报纸呢？”马哈迪今早在武吉干当为国阵助选演讲时，揶揄安华在去年口口声声要落实916变天大计，但是最终都变不成功。马哈迪达因在幕后垂帘听政此外，阿兹敏阿里更讽刺新任巫统主席兼首相纳吉看来空有虚名，因为如今领导巫统和国家的人，其实是马哈迪和前财政部长达因。他提醒说，马哈迪在主政22年期间除了摧毁国家独立的司法和警察体制外，也在1993年剥夺了马来皇室的免控权。他讥讽，虽然霹雳州巫统口口声声捍卫皇室，但是他们却主动马哈迪助选。“我要求马来人不要轻易忘记（orang melayu jangan mudah lupa，马哈迪名言），是他摧毁了整个国家体制。”

补选提名以来最多人潮集会
武吉干当补选进入最后冲刺阶段，民联在昨晚的“超级星期天”接连举办两场大型活动，分攻巫裔和非巫裔票仓，使出杀手锏誓要打赢这场民主公投战。这两场大型活动是，由民主行动党主催的新板（Simpang）万人宴，及回教党主办的嘉雅花园（Taman Kaya）露天政治讲座。行动党的万人宴估计共获得5000人出席，而回教党的露天讲座也全场爆满，大草场上聚集了约4000名以马来人为主的群众。相信也是补选提名以来，出现最多人潮的政治集会。单现场筹款突破1万令吉这两场大型活动让新板和嘉雅花园出现万人空巷，特别是行动党的万人宴，虽然宴开250席早已坐满，但人流还是一直挤往讲台方向，以聆听民联领袖精彩的演讲。一些无法挤进去的民众，则站在远处，或甚至驻足大马路旁，不愿漏过领袖们的一句演说。行动党在这场晚宴中，共筹获1万1123令吉，这尚不包括每桌100令吉的义卖餐券。虽然在提名日后，补选气氛久久不能热起来，不过在昨晚，民众所展现的热情和反应，却仿佛直追308全国大选。众星云集，领袖倾巢而出在新板一家华人酒家举办的万人宴，犹如一场群星会。行动党领袖几乎倾巢而出，放眼望去即有秘书长林冠英、主席卡巴星、国会领袖林吉祥、署理主席陈胜尧、妇女组主席章瑛、雪州高级行政议员郭素沁等。此外，其他的民联重量级领袖，也“串场”支持并给予演讲，包括国会反对党领袖安华、回教党候选人尼查及回教党精神领袖聂阿兹等。曾因反对内安法令扣捕行动，而愤然辞职的前首相署部长再益，同样是座上嘉宾之一。民联领袖在演讲时，都把炮口对准国阵和巫统，特别是讥讽和抨击一些国阵领袖的种族言论，及涉嫌的贪污滥权丑闻时，更是引起民众的共鸣，鼓掌叫好。尼查要选民和巫统说拜拜获得全场最多掌声的尼查，更是直接表示，“我们即将向巫统说拜拜了！”他说，选民必须在这次补选中，释放一个强烈的讯息，告诉巫统和国阵，马来西亚人已拒绝了它们。当他在结束演讲前，带领民众高喊“人民万岁”的口号时，全场发出的声量几乎响彻云霄。以华裔为主的群众，甚至“爱屋及乌”。他们全程关注聂阿兹的演讲，就算聂阿兹引述一些回教教义时，也显得毫不沉闷和鼓噪，显见马华主打的回教国课题已经失效。直升机弊案揭发者也站台至于安华则延续过去数场演讲的主题，强调尼查拨地给华裔新村，并非出卖马来人。他反指马华和民政，在内阁会议内唯唯诺诺，“到底这是什么样的华人？”出席行动党晚宴后，安华就赶到嘉雅花园的另一场回教党讲座，现场聚集约4000名以巫裔为主的群众，聆听一位又一位民联领袖的演说，包括公正党副主席李文材、去年揭发欧洲直升机采购案，之后跳槽回教党的前巫统灵南区部主席查哈，以及回教党精神领袖聂阿兹。这场在马来区举办的讲座会，是武吉干当自4月28日提名以来，出席人数最多的一场政治集会，人群布满了整个足球场。安华以一贯的精湛演讲技巧，时而愤怒激昂，时而幽默风趣，换来台下一阵阵的掌声与笑声。安华竭力解释尼查叛君罪在演讲主题方面，安华并没有抛出新的议题，还是专注于为尼查洗清“忤逆苏丹”的罪名，再次引述《汉都亚传奇》的典故将尼查比喻为马六甲丞相敦霹雳（Bendahara Tun Perak），为了捍卫人民权益才被迫忤逆苏丹。他也带领观众回顾巫统在90年代修宪废除王室免控权的历史，证明巫统也曾与王室对抗。 安华也满口赞扬尼查是一名坚守原则，具有执行力的年轻领袖，更在霹雳宪政危机中突显其“斗士”本色，是马来西亚难能可贵的新一代领袖。另外，国阵也在附近举办两场晚宴，虽然搭好帐篷、排好椅子再提供美味佳肴，但是出席人数都只有数百人。第一场锁定华裔选民为对象的晚宴，再次出动辣妹与歌手呈现劲歌热舞。（下图）第二场印裔晚宴则获得日前因不满公正党派遣新人上阵武吉士南卯而退党的前公正党日莱区部主席卡莱瓦南（BS Kalaivanar）来，大肆抨击安华前言不对后语，以及利用兴权会来争取印裔支持。

Naib presiden Parti Progresif Rakyat (PPP), V Nagarajan menyertai PKR bersama 6,000 ahli selepas lapan bahagian dengan 62 cawangan PPP di Kedah dibubarkan.
Lapan bahagian yang dibubarkan itu ialah Alor Star, Kubang Pasu, Kuala Kedah, Pokok Sena, Kulim, Baling, Sungai Petani dan Merbok.
Perkara itu diumumkan oleh anggota Majlis Kepimpinan Tertinggi (MPT) PKR, Johari Abdul yang juga ahli Parlimen Sungai Petani malam ini.
Beliau membuat pengumuman itu dalam satu majlis ceramah di Dewan Hock Seng, Sungai Petani, dalam DUN Bukit Selambau.
Nagarajan kemudiannya menyerahkan borang keahlian untuk menyertai PKR kepada Ketua umum PKR, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Nagajaran memberitahu pemberita kemudiannya bahawa hari ini beliau menyerahkan 300 borang keahlian manakala bakinya akan diserahkan selepas pilihanraya kecil Bukit Selambau pada 7 April depan.
Johari juga mengumumkan kemasukkan ketua Umno cawangan Kampung Jerai, Marzuki Md Akib bersama 51 ahli cawangan tersebut menyertai PKR.
Turut menyertai PKR malam ini ialah pemimpin masyarakat siam di Bukit Selambau, Nao Bai Seong bersama 100 orang masyarakat siam.
Dalam ucapannya, Anwar berkata beliau akan membuat pengumuman penting pada 7 April depan.
Katanya, beliau akan membuat pengumuman itu apabila Pakatan memang dalam pilihanraya kecil DUN Bukit Selambau, Parlimen Bukit Gantang dan DUN Batang Ai.
Lapan bahagian yang dibubarkan itu ialah Alor Star, Kubang Pasu, Kuala Kedah, Pokok Sena, Kulim, Baling, Sungai Petani dan Merbok.
Perkara itu diumumkan oleh anggota Majlis Kepimpinan Tertinggi (MPT) PKR, Johari Abdul yang juga ahli Parlimen Sungai Petani malam ini.
Beliau membuat pengumuman itu dalam satu majlis ceramah di Dewan Hock Seng, Sungai Petani, dalam DUN Bukit Selambau.
Nagarajan kemudiannya menyerahkan borang keahlian untuk menyertai PKR kepada Ketua umum PKR, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Nagajaran memberitahu pemberita kemudiannya bahawa hari ini beliau menyerahkan 300 borang keahlian manakala bakinya akan diserahkan selepas pilihanraya kecil Bukit Selambau pada 7 April depan.
